Ok, this is a Karura post.
Having decided to try and instance grind to 70 as much as possible to save quests for gold I have been in the habit of ALWAYS being the LFG. I don't care what I run as long as I get EXP. Anyways, I was in the LFG for BF, SP and UB. I get an invite to tank BF. I think: "Ok easy hour run tops."
I get in and the group insists on using CC. Ok, so it might take a little while. The mage insists on pulling with sheep. At this point I am irritated and tell the mage to let me pull. The mage ignores me. The party leader (who would not let me mark) backs up the mage saying its better to let the mage sheep first so I don't break CC. At this point I know these people are idiots. Next pull after that I say "I'm going to pull this warlock WAY back" I hit it with a JoR and start running back. The mage hits it with a fireball. I reply with a "WTF?" The mage then says "Here tank the whole room" runs into the middle of another group and frost novas them.
At this point (I had already said if the mage pulls ONE more time i'm leaving) I hit Divine Shield start casting my hearth say "later guys" and left party. needless to say I get 20 minutes of tells full of profanity.
My question: Was I wrong to do that?

More [Loot] More Problems
This past week has been pretty busy for Erendis and has caused Karura to take a back seat for awhile.
First things first. Guild raided Kara again and cleared everything up to and including Curator. Highlights include getting yet another epic weapon. Ho Hum... lol. After waiting months for one to drop I get two in two weeks. What luck. Anyways, next day went to Heroic Bot and what do you know new boots!. It gets better. I finally got 75 badges and so bought myself an early Christmas present. I know its only November but with all the epics dropping it felt like Santa had come.
So thats where Erendis is sitting. We're doing good with our Kara groups and have had some luck in Heroic PuGs. The only stumbling point now is where to scrounge up 5000g for an epic flying mount. ><

Illhoof Down
So the Madorans Fist of Crushridge blew through Kara this week. Sunday was day one and we rushed through and downed Attumen, Moroes, Opera, Curator and then went back and did Maiden. It was "Hunter Loot Night" and fellow Fister Hunbert and I got new EPIX! So now Erendis is sporting a sexy new Crossbow! Hunbert is now packing the Consumate BM gun.
So, after a such a great night we came back the next day. Starting on Shade, we blew that old man away in one shot with no deaths (except my darling cat, Alphonse) and then proceeded to free loot fest (aka Chess). With a decent amount of time left, we decided to try a boss we have never downed before. So after some debate we decide to go for Illhoof.
We had some people who had never attempted Illhoof before (myself included) and so the first couple attempts were shaky. On the third try we decided to ignore Kil'rek and just burn the big goat down. We were on top of the Demon Chains and everything just came together. And success.

from left to right: Khiva, Jea, Crimdrac, Panoramatix (on loan from The Wraith), Artixx, Erendis (me!), Andostre, Pondra, Derekson, Evilroggles, Alphonse (my cat), and half cut off in the picture...Evilroggles' Felhunter.
After that attempt we went up and went for Prince. After a couple attempts we got him down to 53% before infernal placement wiped the party. I think we have the makeup and gear to do Prince with some luck so... watch out Malchezaar. You're next on our hitlist!
A Place for Musings
Well, decided to start posting my thoughts on WoW while playing a Hunter and now a Paladin. I've been playing for about a year now and have been pretty serious about PvE for about 5-6 months or so. Erendis is currently in a Kara raiding guild and Karura is in the same guild and leveling protection with the intention of endgame tanking.
Why make a blog for a fake game world? Well, why not. This is game is complicated enough (anything where you have to deal with people tends to get complicated) that there is plenty to write about.
Anyways, the internets will take my ramblings or else!
